Hi, I’m a passionate Mathematics instructor who believes that math is more than just numbers and formulas; it’s a way of thinking, discovering, and making sense of our surroundings. My goal is to make mathematics understandable, engaging, and approachable by emphasising concepts rather than rote memorisation. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, intuitive steps and demonstrating how math applies to real-world scenarios.

With a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in applied geophysics, I bring a solid scientific foundation to my teaching, allowing me to connect mathematical concepts to real-world applications in science and technology. My educational background enables me to provide learners with not only knowledge but also a deeper understanding of how mathematics affects our world.

In my classes, curiosity comes first. I urge my students to ask questions, think critically, and understand the beauty of patterns and problem-solving. Whether it’s algebra, geometry, or calculus, I want every student to leave with not only the right answers but also the confidence to understand the reasoning behind them.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active by playing table tennis and badminton, which not only keeps me energised but also reminds me of the importance of practice, focus, and strategy—values that I incorporate into my teaching.

Mathematics may be challenging, but with the right guidance, it can also be extremely rewarding—and even enjoyable. My objective is to assist students in gaining confidence and developing a lifelong passion for the subject.
